Through a two-step screening system by fusion of two diagnostic methods based on different principles, a non-contact instantaneous sensing method and a rapid reliable bio-assay method, infected individuals can be identified within a short time and with a positive predictive value (PPV) of 90%. By establishing this screening system at airports and diagnosis institutes, emerging and reemerging of the infection can be prevented and further spread inhibited.
